Chef Partner Julian Medina and restaurant group YB & Co introduce Christopher Gilman and their newest Latin hot spot, YerbaBuena Perry. Located at One Perry Street in Manhattan's West Village. YerbaBuena Perry is a chic 55-seater that stirs up an era gone by-1950's Cuba. The restaurant features Julian Medina's reinterpreted Cocina Latina cuisine complemented by signature cocktails, many made with Yerba Buena, a latin mint. YerbaBuena Perry transports guests from the West Village to an exclusive club in Havana with a feel that is retro yet chic and sophisticated. Designer Welly Lai outfitted the space with floral wall coverings in sea foam hues and leather banquettes, setting a mood of elegance. The restaurant's focal point is an expansive hand-carved bar with an Italian marble top. Julian Medina's cusine evokes Peru, Cuba, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Spain. Yerba Buena Perry's menu includes Ceviches, Tacos, and Parrillada, an Argentine mixed Grill.

The food was excellent here. Portions were great. The service was so accommodating. We had the fish tacos, branzino special, arroz con pollo, and paella. All were memorable and we would definitely come back. We ordered one dessert for 4 people and they gave us extra food to serve us all. Definitely recommend.

fine ambence, Splendid food for 7 p.m. dinner. Engaging and helpful staff. BUT, like so many NY restaurants, unbearable noise prevented natural conversation. I'll return for an early lunch, one day - perhaps a very early, weekday dinner.

I was a little underwhelmed by the food, unique choices but leaves much to be desired. Also, they don't take American Express cards which is a rarity in NYC. Very polite and attentive staff

Need a spot to enjoy close friends and spectacular drinks and food? YB Perry's poquito picante cocktail got our party's wit all fired up. One of the most memorable nights ever-two years ago! Heading over for a repeat this weekend.

It was really nice to have tapas with my sisters here. The food was filling and they were accommodating to our requests of increasing the amount of tapas from 2 to 3 per order so we each can try. The arepas were in fact the best. The drinks were lovely. My jeans were feeling tight after the fried cheese balls that we had to have. The servers were nice and there was a decent crowd. I'd recommend it to others, but I would not necessarily run back.

My husband, daughter and I just ate here last week at my daughter's suggestion and we all shared 3 meals and they were all delicious. Everything was well spiced (which we like) and cooked to perfection. There is a nice twist on all of the cooking. The waiter was delightful and attentive. We had a nice table in the corner though the middle of the room seemed a little noisy-lots of young hip people

Great for bigger groups! We weren't sure where to go with our birthday group of 8 but Yerba Buena let us make a reservation a week ahead of time and took great care of us! Food and drinks were delicious, but they went the extra mile and gave us free birthday shots and a hook up for where to go next with our large party. Great experience!

This is a very cute neighborhood spot serving South American Cuisine. It is frequented by an attractive young crowd and it can be very loud. The food is good and this place is always fun.

Great brunch with bottomless mimosas (and a few different flavors to boot)! Not surprisingly, this place gets very busy on the weekends, and the servers can get a little distracted/preoccupied resulting in slower mimosa refills. The food is fantastic! Highly recommend. Fair pricing. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

The food here is amazing! I came here for restaurant week and loved everything I tried. The fish tacos are a great starter and you should definitely try the trio of fries which comes with watermelon, avocado and heart of palm. The steak was juicy and came with guacamole and yuca balls on the side. Everything is delicious and full of flavor. I highly recommend you try it.

My date and I chose this restaurant off of the Restaurant Week list. We were seated at the bad because every other party was running late so our table was not ready yet. I did not mind because the bartender was nice and attentive. The manager came over apologized for the wait and gave us a nice table in the back. I had the short rib dish with quinoa and my date had the salmon with brussel sprouts. Both dishes were amazing!. The short ribs fell apart with the slightest touch and melted in your mouth. Needless to say my date and I cleaned our plates! We followed dinner with the pina colada tres leche cake which was also great! The only downside was that we didn't know Restaurant Week excluded Saturday reservations. Nonetheless I'd definitely make a return visit and recommend this place. From the drinks, to the ambiance, to the food, it was definitely worth the trip!

This place is quite nice and has a great atmosphere. I must say I do enjoy their avocado fries and that this a place for a nice evening meal. I had their restaurant week menu and it satisfied my hunger as well as it did not leave me with a thought that it might have been better to cook.Food: GoodThe skirt steak which I had medium rare was well done with a side of guacamole and a ball of fried potatoes (I assume). The skirt steak was cook to my liking as well as the proportions wasn't for a child, but for a decent sized man. Appetizers: Excellent (Main catch)I think the appetizers are the catch of this place. The watermelon and Avocado fries are something one should all try. Service: ExcellentI liked that while the waiters were serving, the manager/owner payed close attention to the needs of the dining customers.Overall: Great. This is a great place for a nice summer evening meal and to head over to the sky line afterwards.

I had high hopes for this place and they did not let me down. Food and drinks were on point and the ambiance is what i was looking for. I had the skirt steak which was accompanied with fried yuca balls that sat on guac - oh hellooooo. that was to die for! and I had a blackberry/vodka drink that was fantastic.

I came here for brunch with a group of food. While they had a nice change of pace from the typical mimosa and bloodymary. I thought I would get a stomach ache from all the sugar in their cocktails so I had to switch to champagne. The food was pretty good but nothing to write home about.

Every time I visit Yerba Buena I leave very satisfied. The staff is pleasant and the food is excellent. I've tried a lot of guacamole in NYC and theirs is definitely at the top of my list. Be sure to try it and a cocktail while you're at it. The flavor creations they mix up are amazing.

Fried watermelon is amazing. Sounds a bit crazy, but you'll love it. Also had the arepas and short ribs with quinoa which were out of this world! Ended up paying less than $50 per person with cocktails, apps, and entrees.Great spot for a group meal or a date. The staff was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Will definitely be back.

The service, food and drinks are 5 star. It is looking a little down in it's luck decor wise. It's needs a refreshing (wallpaper is scuffed, chairs are worn thru, etc. Don't let it run down anymore, cause we love the food here!

I've been here for brunch for a friend's birthday. The food is very good, drinks are tasty, and the wait staff is...interesting. Our waiter kept making "jokes" about how annoyed he was by certain customers and things that were happening over the course of the day, to the point that some of us began to question whether or not he was actually joking. But he was attentive to our needs, and that's all that matters in the end.

Amazing brunch spot, with excellent service. The staff was super attentive (which can be a struggle with a large group) during a busy brunch rush. Can't beat unlimited brunch drinks for an hour. Highly recommend the bistec a caballo as well. Not one person from our party had a bad meal. Definitely going back to check out their dinner menu.

If you like latin food in an extreme fried condition, this is your place. The arepas are deep fry, and delicious, the multiple avocado, fruits appetizer is fatty and great, the guacamole is to die for. the special huevos rancheros are very well done and the Benedict eggs options worthy to try. The only bad part is the very very very laud level of noise. but after 1 hour of amazing unlimited drinks, you wont complain about how high is the music!
